The Hamilton-Wentworth Unit of the Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association represents about 1500 regular teachers and occasional teachers who teach in 48  elementary and 7 secondary publicly funded Catholic schools  in Hamilton, Ontario.

We are a member of the provincial OECTA and through this provincial body  we are affiliated with the Ontario Teachers' Federation, the Canadian Teachers' Federation, and Education International.  

We strive to protect the rights of our teachers and ensure that their working conditions are fair.  We've been proudly teaching and supporting students and their families since 1856.
